Tata Power launches LED lights scheme for households in Mumbai

Tata Power today launched LED tube light scheme in Mumbai for its residential consumer under which it will provide five lights to each household at Rs 525 per piece against market price of Rs 1,325.
The consumer can register online for the scheme and the LED tube light fittings will be home delivered, the company said in a BSE filing.

Airtel launches wi-fi application
* Bharti Airtel today launched a wi-fi application allowing customers to connect to its wi-fi zones available in various regions.
Airtel customers can download the Hangout app free from Android or iOS store and latch on to the network in these zones to experience faster internet speeds, the company said in a statement.
"With a big focus on Wi-Fi zones that provide customers a superior data experience, Airtel has already gone live across 8 locations in Delhi/NCR in a short span of time," it added.

PowerGrid creates arm to manufacture electricity conductors
* State-run Power Grid Corp today said that it has incorporated a wholly owned company Grid Conductors Ltd to manufacture aluminium and aluminium alloy electricity conductors at a cost of Rs 127 crore.
"The company has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary named Grid Conductors Ltd to manufacture Aluminium and Aluminium alloy electricity conductors at an estimated cost of Rs 127.35 crore on September 15, 2015," Power Grid Corporation of India informed BSE today.
Power Grid is a central transmission utility.
