Teen girl plunges to death from overhead water tank in UP

An 18-year-old college girl today allegedly jumped to her death from an overhead water tank at Majri area under Behat police station in the district.
Priya, a college student and a native of Majri area here climbed up the Nagar Panchayat water tank in the morning and committed suicide, ASP (Rural), Jagdish Sharma said.
The girl died on the spot, he said.
The motive behind the unfortunate incident has not yet been ascertained, police said .
