A teenage boy and girl were found dead hanging from a tree in Rajasthan's Dungarpur district on Friday, police said.
The deceased were identified as Deepak Meena (16) and Heena Meena (15), residents of Sejal village, police said.
Villagers found the teenagers hanging from the tree and alerted the police, SHO Varda PS Bhanwar Singh said.
The two teens were reportedly in a relationship and were missing from their homes since Thursday, police said adding that the deaths raised speculation over a failed relationship.
A case under CrPc 174 was registered and the bodies were handed over to the families after post-mortem, he added.
