Teenaged boy commits suicide after being scolded by parents

A 15-year-old boy today allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house after being scolded by parents in Amar garden here, police said.
Amrit committed suicide in his house as his parents had scolded him over some issue, they said.
He took the extreme step when his parents had gone to their native place in Uttar Pradesh.
The boy has left a suicide note.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old engineering student Ajit Maurya allegedly committed suicide today by consuming Sulfas tablet as he was depressed over poor results in final examination, police said.
Body of Maurya, who hailed from UP, was recovered from a hotel here, they said.

Both the bodies have been sent for postmortem and investigations have been initiated, police added.
