Tel takes up construction of MLAs' residences in 104 segments

The Telangana Government has taken up construction of camp offices-cum-residences for MLAs in 104 of total 119 Assembly constituencies, with the cost of Rs 119 crore, the Legislative Assembly was told today.
The excluded 15 Assembly segments are in Hyderabad, where accommodation is proposed to be given to these MLAs in the New MLA Quarters which is under construction, the Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said during the Question Hour.
Out of the 104 constituencies, tenders have been invited for construction in 98 segments, while the agreement for construction has been concluded in 88 constituencies, which include 62 segments where work is under progress, he said.

Construction has already been completed in Parkala constituency, Rao added.
