The event, to be attended by about one lakh people, would be held from 7 to 9 PM, a state government release said.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officials to make befitting arrangements for the event, it said.
Lazer shows, fire works, 3D lighting, entertaining shows on motor cycles and horses would be part of the events. Laddus will be distributed to about one lakh people on the occasion, it said.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister called on Governor E S L Narasimhan today.
The meeting came against the backdrop of the arrest of a TDP MLA for allegedly trying to bribe a nominated MLA in connection with the MLC elections.
