Jaipal Kholko, a telecom engineer with a private firm in Bhopal and labourer Tulsi Adivasi, a local, were repairing the network at Paadarkheda jungles in Gopalpura village of the district when they were kidnapped by dacoits yesterday, district Superintendent of Police Murarilal Chhari said.
The information of abduction reached police last night after a technician, Jagdish and another person, who were working with the engineer, contacted them.
Dacoits could not abduct Jagdish and the other man as they were a bit farther from the place where Jaipal and Tulsi were working, the SP said.
No gang has claimed responsibility of abduction or demanded ransom for release of the captives, he added.
