Tension in Bharatpur after miscreants pelt stones at gurdwara

Tension prevailed in the Budh Ki Hat area here after some members of a community allegedly pelted stones at a gurdwara, leaving four persons injured.
"Some miscreants from a community pelted stones at the gurdwara where food was being served during langar (community meal) last night. The incident left four persons injured who were given treatment at the district hospital," police said.
Stones were pelted from a nearby house when power went off in the gurdwara for some time, police said.
The incident led to tension in the Budh Ki Hat area where members of both the communities confronted each other, police said, adding that there were also reports of shots being fired in the air.

Five persons have been arrested and the situation in the area is under control now, police said.
