Banerjee said this when asked by a SUCI MLA during a supplementary in the Assembly how many terrorists were found to be operating in unrecognised madrasas.
She, however, said that she would not like to comment on the Burdwan blast which was being probed by NIA.
She said that there were several unaided madrasas in the state which lacked infrastructure like the aided ones.
Defending the sops for the Muslims, she said that the state had extended the benefit of reservation to Muslim minorities under the OBC quota and that her government was committed to work for the backward sections.
She said Muslims were becoming IAS, IPS, doctors and engineers and the state government had arranged training for them.

She said that the country would be doomed when there would be an attempt to divide it on the basis of Hindus and Muslims.
