Boyband 'The Wanted' star Max George, who reportedly lost his grandfather David recently, is said to be extremely sad as he could not meet him for the last time.
The singer had to cancel his appearance for the band's US tour earlier this month, after he was forced to rush to his native England after hearing the news of his grandfather's illness, reported Daily Mirror.
George is devastated for not being able to meet his grandfather before his death on December 13.
"Max is incredibly close to his family. The death has really hit him hard. He was distraught at not getting home before his grandfather died," a source said.
