The R&B star, 26, picked up the top prizes for single of the year for "Can't Feel My Face" and album of the year for "Beauty Behind the Madness" at the live ceremony at Calgary, Alberta's Scotiabank Saddledome.
The Weeknd went into the prizegiving a triple winner after picking up trophies for artist and songwriter of the year and R&B/Soul recording for "Beauty Behind the Madness" during the Juno Gala Dinner and Awards.
Thirty-five of the 41 Juno awards, which recognise the best of Canadian music, were announced at the industry gala, where Justin Bieber's "Purpose" was named the pop album prize, and Drake took home the best rap recording for "If You're Reading This It's Too Late".
Bieber won another Juno for the fan choice award, while 19-year-old Alessia Cara scored her first Juno for breakthrough artist of the year.
"I'm just a regular girl who lived the most normal life and I released a song and it hasn't been the same since," she told the crowd.
Other winners included Walk Off the Earth (group of the year), Dean Brody (country album of the year for Gypsy Road), and singer/songwriter Burton Cummings, who was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame by Alberta natives Nickelback.
