Thoor dal prices decline at wholesale foodgrains market

Barring thoor dal, the prices of all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Thoor dal opened the week at Rs 8,800, down by Rs 200 per quintal from its previous rate of Rs 9,000.
The prices of urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, wheat, maida (90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) ruled steady on the opening day.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise):
Thoor Dal Rs 8,800 Urad Dal Rs 8,400, Moong Dal Rs 9,800, Gram Dal Rs 4,900, Sugar Rs 2,900, Wheat Rs 2,800, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
