The first year student of business administration was deeply immersed in last mintue revision outside her examination centre in Narela when her phone rang.
She took the call from her classmate Ritu Singh but all she could hear were screams.
"I did not pay much attention as she was also coming to the centre for examination with others. I thought it was a prank played by them," she said.
The accident on Monday claimed the lives of four- Ritu Singh, Sanchit Chhabara, Garima Gupta and Rajat Sharma. Raja Rastogi and Ravi Mavi sustained grievous injuries while Pranav was also injured.
The seven were classmates at Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research in Rohini's Sector 24 and were heading to take their second semester examination at Narela centre.
"The night before the accident, we talked about preparations. I had only them as my closest friends and now I have been left alone," said Komal, who participated in the "Kriya" ceremony of Rajat after appearing in her paper today.
"They are moving although they were unconscious since the accident. I pray to god for their speedy recoveries. It's the only good thing for me in the last few days," she said.
Ritu and Sanchit Chhabra died on the spot after the car broke the railings of the flyover and fell several feets down. Rajat who was driving the car died later through cement railings to fall almost 30 feet below. Rajat, who was driving the car, died later in the day. Garima also succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
