Three arrested for illegal sand mining in UP

Police today arrested three people and seized three trucks loaded allegedly with illegally mined sand from their possession here.
The accused-- Girish, Surendra and Balister--were arrested from Nanua Rajpur area here, the police said.
They were booked under relevant IPC sections and the mining act, they said.
