Acting on tip offs, the Excise department team intercepted a car near Panchsheel Balak Inter College last night and arrested the driver Raqib and seized 27 cartons of smuggled liquor from the vehicle, said Kuldeep Yadav, District Excise Officer.
He was trying to smuggle Haryana-made liquor to Muzaffarnagar.
In the second incident, one person was assested by the police in Noida sector 20 and 16 quarter bottles of smuggled liquor.
While in the third incident, a man was arrested from Sector 49 and seized 222 bottles of quarter of smuggled liquor.
