Three boys drown in construction pit in Maha's Yavatmal
Three boys Sunday died after they drowned in a construction pit in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district.
Police said that the three boys, between 10-12 years of age, had drowned in a pit dug up in connection with the construction of a state-run hostel in Pandharkawada area here.
He identified them as Adesh Balaseheb Rathod, Sanchetan Shyamkiran Rathod and Siddhesh Vikas Mogarkar, all students of a local school.
A case has been registered and further investigations were underway, the official said.
