Three criminals held for businessman's murder

Crime Branch of Gurgaon Police arrested three notorious criminals on the charges of kidnapping and murdering a businessman for robbery.
The accused have been identified as Gaurav (26), resident of Rohtak, Mahesh (26), resident of Jhajjar, and Sachin (21), resident of Hisar, the police said.
They were arrested last night following a raid when they were coming to dispose off the body of the businessman in Gurgaon.
Three pistols with live cartridges and a car involved in the crime were recovered from their possession.
"After a tip-off that three criminals carrying a body in the car were coming to dispose off it in Gurgaon near Chandu village at Palam Vihar area, a team of Crime Branch barricaded the road," assistant commissioner of Gurgaon police Manish Sehgal said.

"When team saw the car coming from the road and tried to stop it, the accused person tried to speed away it, but later it was intercepted following a brief chase," Sehgal, also the PRO of city police, said.

On questioning, they told investigators that the body they were carrying is of Joginder, a resident of Hisar. They had kidnapped him for robbing his valuables and his car.
"They had met Joginder on Saturday in a wedding ceremony in Hisar and hatched a conspiracy to kidnap and rob him," the officer said.
He added that the accused kidnapped Joginder at Rohtak bypass road and robbed his gold ring, chain and cash.

In order to hide their crime, they later shot him dead, ACP Sehgal said.
The gang members were earlier also involved in a criminal case at DLF area in Gurgaon.
