Three dead as car rams into stationary truck near Sehore

Three people including two women were killed and two others injured today when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck in Ashta area near here, police said.
The deceased were identified as Prakash Kanungo, Chhaya Kanungo and Surbhi, all residents of Indore.
All of them died on the spot, additional superintendent of police A P Singh said.
Abhishek, who was driving, and a child named Akshat, sustained injuries. They were given first aid at civil hospital here and then shifted to Indore.
The injured were pulled out from the wrecked vehicle after much effort, the ASP said.
The victims were returning to Indore after attending a wedding in Satna district when the car hit a stationary truck in Ashta area on Bhopal-Indore road.
Police impounded the truck and were looking for its driver who fled. "We have registered a case and further investigations are on," ASP Singh added.
