Three electrocuted in different incidents

A farmer and his wife were electrocuted while irrigating their paddy field near here, police today said.
The 40-year-old Srinivasan and his wife were watering the field last night when he got electrocuted while operating the motor. His wife tried to rescue him but she too was electrocuted, police said.
In another incident, a state electricity board electrician, Manoharan, was electrocuted while trying to fix a wire atop an electric post in Namakkal district, police said.
