Three elephants enter sugarcane field in TN village

Three elephants entered a private sugarcane field in Ramapura in Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve Area and caused damage to the crop today.
Efforts to scare away the elephants failed till late tonight and crackers burst for the purpose caused a fire and added to the damage of the crop, forest officials said.
