Three people were injured, one of them seriously, when a country-made bomb exploded near Kuttiyadi police station limits, police said Tuesday.
The explosion occurred at around 12 last night at the compound of one Abdulla Musaliyar and his son, Sali, was among the injured, they said.
A country-made bomb has been recovered from the blast site, they added.
Police were informed about the incident this morning.
A case has been registered and investigation has begun.
