The accident took place last night when the steering wheel of the tractor developed a snag and the driver lost control over the vehicle.
The vehicle overturned and then fell into the Sarayan river killing three persons on the spot, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Raju (26), Ram Munesh (37) and Netra Pal (45).
Locals as well as the police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to district hospital.
