Three killed in jeep-train collision in Jaunpur

Three persons were today killed when a jeep they were travelling in was hit by a train at an unmanned crossing in Meerganj area of Jaunpur district, police said here.
Akhilesh Kumar Singh (45) and two unidentified youths were killed when their jeep was hit by Intercity Express coming from Rae Bareli at an unmanned crossing in Sindari village this morning, a police spokesman said.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem.
