According to preliminary information reaching the headquarters here, the special operation was being led by paramilitary CRPF in the jungles of Bukar village under Chauparan police station area when a gun battle between the two sides ensued.
"Three Naxal bodies have been recovered till now. It is very rare that the forces recover bodies during or after an encounter. Further details are awaited as communication links are weak," a senior security force official said.
The official said the encounter is still on in the area and few arms like a bolt-action rifle, an INSAS and an SLR rifle along with explosives have been recovered till now.
