Three persons sentenced to lifer in a kidnapping case

Additional District and Sessions judge Abhay Kumar Bariyal passed the order yesterday after sentencing Md Rizwan, Kaihaiya Kunwar and Ram Prasad Sahni to life and imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 each after finding them guilty of kidnapping Raju Jha.

According to the prosecution, the convicted had kidnapped Jha, a petrol pump employee, from Benipur Bharat chowk for ransom in 2009.
