Three sentenced to 20 years in jail for gangrape

A local court today awarded 20 years of imprisonment to three persons for gangraping a 28-year-old woman in 2013 here.
Additional District and Sessions judge Kanchan Mahi convicted Sumit, Dinesh and Ajmer and imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 each.
The trio, charged with gangrape, will have to serve an additional two-month jail sentence in case of non-payment of the fine.
The woman was gangraped by the three at Taarkhan village on March 25, 2013.
They were the nabbed by the police and a case was registered against them.
