Jaspreet Singh of Raipur Ariyan village near Amloh had complained to police against travel agents -- Raminder Singh and Bunty Vemra of Tilak Nagar, Ludhiana and Hardeep Singh of Mandi Ahmadgarh of Sangrur district, police said.
The accused have allegedly taken Rs 3 lakh from Jaspreet, promising to send him to Singapore. But they neither send him abroad nor returned the money.
After receiving the complaint, an inquiry was done and a case was registered against the accused.
