have been apprehended from Mumbai in joint operation by Army, Assam Police and Mumbai Police.
According to Sonitpur SP Sanjukta Parasar, the three militants were nabbed by a join operation in Mumbai last night.
Acting on a specific information by the Army Intelligence, an operation was launched by Assam Police's Sonitpur division in association with the Anti Terrorist Squad of Mumbai to nab the culprits, she said.
The trio have been identified as Purno Narzari, Samkha Basumatary and Ansai Basumatary alias Bishu, Parasar said.
She said the militants had been taking shelter in Mumbai since December 23 last year, after NDFB(S) terrorists killed scores of innocent people across Assam.
