Three wanted Maoists arrested in Jharkhand

Three Maoists, wanted in a number of cases, were arrested while meeting their families in Jharkhand's Palamau district.
Pancham Rai, wanted in atleast 12 cases,including in Bihar's Aurangabad district in which a policeman got killed, was arrested from Hamidnagar area last evening, Dy SP Mukesh Kumar Mahato told newsmen here today.
He was also wanted in the attack on former Jharkhand minister Kamlesh Singh's ancestral house in Kamgarpur village a few years ago, Kumar said.
Two other Maoists, Bhim Singh and Mahendra Choudhury, were arrested from Barkhakhar village during the day, he said.
Mahato said, Rai was involved in an encounter with securitymen at Navinagar in Bihar's Aurangabad district, which resulted in the death of policemen.
