Globally, the industrial metal copper slipped in early trade and was on track for its biggest weekly loss since September as traders cut risk ahead of a slew of readings on European growth.
Tin dipped by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 1,470 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,485.
Nickel fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,095 from Rs 1,100.
However, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting and zinc inched-up by a Re per kg each to Rs 330, Rs 342 and Rs 185.
