Titan shares soar more than 7% post Q3 results

Shares of jewellery and watch major Titan Company soared by more than 7 per cent today on good December quarter financial results.
The stock climbed 7.25 per cent to settle at Rs 363.90 on BSE. During the day, it surged by 8 per cent to Rs 366.50.
At NSE, shares of the company gained 7.28 per cent to close at Rs 363.70.
Titan Company yesterday reported 18.11 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 225.29 crore for the third quarter ended December 31.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 190.73 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal.

Net sales rose to Rs 3,398.38 crore during the third quarter compared with Rs 2,898.28 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Titan Company Ltd had said in a BSE filing.
