TMC workers shot at in Malda

Tension brewed in Dariapur area of
West Bengal's Malda district after a ruling TMC worker was shot at and seriously injured.
Police said Zahirul Sheikh, a local party worker, was allegedly shot and injured which the TMC claimed was the handi work of rival Congress supporters last night.
Tension mounted as police today recovered some fire arms from a house in relation to the firing, following which a group of TMC supporters torched the building and set on fire a nearby vehicle to protest against the incident.
Police investigation are to nab the culprits.
