Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Chief Minister K Palaniswami and his deputy O Panneerselvam today expressed grief over the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
DMK working president M K Stalin also mourned the death.
The dignitaries would pay their last respects to the leader at Delhi.
Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi chief Thol. Thirumavalavan, MDMK leader Vaiko, DMK's A Raja and party's Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi, BJP leaders Tamilisai Soundararajan would also visit Delhi to pay homage to the departed leader.
In his condolence message, Governor Purohit said "Vajpayee was an outstanding statesman, a great orator and role model for politicians and poets and his death "fills me with great shock and grief."
