TN Guv, leaders greet people on Diwali eve

Governor K Rosaiah and other leaders in Tamil Nadu today extended their Diwali greetings to people.
In a Raj Bhavan statement, Rosaiah conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the people of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and to those living in other parts of the country.
"May the festival of lights remove darkness of ignorance, illuminate our minds with noble thoughts and reinstill in us a spirit of love, compassion and promote peace and harmony," he said.
DMKD founder and Opposition Leader Vijayakanth, BJP state president Tamizhisai Sounderrajan, Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan and TNCC President B S Gnanadesikan also extended their festival greetings.
