McFly singer Tom Fletcher spent seven-and-a-half hours at The Making of Harry Potter at Warner Bros Studio and now holds the record for the "longest guided tour."
The30-year-old singer took his mother Debbie to the launch of Hogwarts in the Snow at the complex in Leavesden, Hertfordshire and was so wrapped up in the magic of it all that he spent the whole evening visiting the attraction, reported Now magazine.
Taking to his Instagram account afterwards, he wrote: "Had an awesome time with my mum at the WB Studio Tour. #hogwartsinthesnow looks awesome!
"The tour is an amazing place run by insanely lovely people who are all so passionate about Harry Potter.
"Definitely worth going. Apparently I hold the record for the longest guided tour at 7 and a half hours! Ha! (sic)."
To mark the opening of the festive feature, Tom was given the opportunity to learn how the special effects experts make snow that never melts, how set dressers create Christmas scenes, and how flames are made without fire.
For the first time this year, the Goblet of Fire will emerge from its jewelled casket, rigged by special effects experts, and will be lit with flames that change from blue to red.
Hogwarts in the Snow will run until January 31 and offers visitors the opportunity to see the 'Harry Potter' franchise's most iconic locations dressed as they were for festive scenes, with authentic decorations and stunning props.
Other guests in attendance at the official opening included Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, and Louis Smith and Lucy Mecklenburgh and dancer Kimberley Wyatt.
