Tom Jose assumes charge as Chief Secretary of Kerala

: Senior IAS officer Tom Jose today assumed charge as the new Chief Secretary of Kerala.

He took over from Paul Antony, who retired today.

Jose was the Additional Chief Secretary of Labour and Skills Excise and Water Resources Department, prior tothis new appointment.

The 1984 batch IAS officer began his career as Sub Collector of Thrissur and Pathnamthitta districts and went on to occupy various important positions at the state and centre.
