Maoist splinter group Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), carrying a reward of Rs five lakh on his head, was today arrested from Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, police said here.
After getting information that Ansu Yadav of TPC was undergoing treatment at a place in Ramgarh district, a police team from Latehar went there and arrested him, Latehar Superintendent of Police Michael S Raj told reporters here.
He said the rebel was wanted in 25 cases of murder, participating in police encounters, extortion and abduction and was a terror in Chatra, Gumla, Ranchi and Latehar for the last seven years.
