Train hits tractor, no casualties

A tractor was hit by Katangi-Gondia train near Birsol railway station in the district today, however there were no casualties, local police said.
The mishap occurred at around 5 pm.
The tractor, while crossing the tracks, got stuck, but the unidentified driver jumped out seeing the oncoming the train and fled.
Engine of the train dragged the tractor for about 200 meters.
