The man allegedly killed the women between 1988 and 2002.
The Baiyin District People's Court in Gansu Province, will announce its ruling on a different day, a state-run Xinhua news agency report said.
According to the procuratorate in Baiyin, the man surnamed Gao was accused of multiple offenses including robbery, rape, murder and dismembering bodies.
The trial, which began yesterday, was held in a private session in consideration of the victims' privacy.
Previous media reports had disclosed that many of the victims were dressed in red, and some parts of their bodies were missing, which led some media to dub Gao the Chinese "Jack the Ripper", after the notorious serial killer believed to have been active in London in 1888.
