On April 20, in Kirat Pada of Nihe village, the girl had gone to fetch water from a well when the alleged molestation incident took place, R A Bhore, Police Sub-Inspector, Manor Police Station said.
"One of the accused was standing near the well and asked the girl to come with him, so that they can elope," the officer said, quoting the complaint.

On April 28, the accused, came with a group of people, many women among them, and allegedly attacked the girl's family with lethal weapons and pelted their home with stones, Bhore added.
