Trilochan Mohapatra appointed Secretary, DARE

Renowned scientist Trilochan Mohapatra was today appointed as Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) and Director General of Indian Agricultural Research Institute.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Mohapatra, who is presently Director-cum-Vice Chancellor, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.
In another order, the ACC also approved the extension in tenure of Prof K VijayRaghavan, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology (DBT) till February 2, 2018 i.E. Till he attains the age of 64 years.
