Months after storming to power, Mamata Banerjee has decided to catapult her nephew as the next generation leader of Trinamool Congress.
West Bengal Trinamool Yuva Committee for 2014-15 was today announced, the party website said adding Abhishek Banerjee will be the State President of Trinamool Yuva.
Vinay Mishra will be the Vice-President and Karan Sharma has been given the post of State General Secretary.
The Trinamool Yuva president in Jalpaiguri district Sagnik Bose was replaced by Saikat Chatterjee, the website said adding that presidents of the block committees of the organisation would be announced soon.
