With the creation of SDC in place of the State Planning Board, Tuki was streamlining the planning and execution processes of all schemes, specially the centrally sponsored schemes (CSS).
Presiding over the meeting, the Chief Minister called for all out efforts in pursuing with central ministries to achieve the expectations of all CSS, an official release said.
Tuki suggested optimum utilisation of the Delhi Resident Commissioner's office for pursing CSS with the central ministries.
The Chief Minister said the cabinet has decided to provide state's share in advance for crucial sectors such as health, education etc and advised the departments to provide complete information to the Planning and Finance departments to enable them to release the state's share at the earliest, it said.
The SDC would hold its first phase of meetings from August 19 to 25 with departments having no or very small component of CSS, the release added.
