Tunnel collapses in China; 13 trapped

At least 13 people were trapped after a tunnel under construction collapsed in China's southwestern Guizhou Province, local authorities said today.
The tunnel, being built on a highway in Shiqian County, caved in last night.
The trapped people are estimated to be 600 meters away from the exit. Excavators have been employed to rescue them.
Safety regulation officers, police and medics have also arrived.
