Popular American police procedural and legal TV drama 'Law and Order' will reportedly return with a new 10-episode series.
Actors Chris Noth and Sam Waterston, who formed the original cast, have been approached to reprise their role for the new limited series, reported Deadline.
'Law & Order' was canceled in 2010 after airing for 20 seasons, starting in 1990, tying 'Gunsmoke' as the longest-running primetime drama series in the US.
Its spin-off 'Law and Order: SVU' has just been renewed for season 17, cementing it as the longest-running drama on TV right now.
