Two AANLA militants nabbed

liberation Army (AANLA) militants have been nabbed by security forces in Assam's Sonitpur district, official sources said today.
The duo had served an extortion notice to a contractor in Dhekiajuli area of the district following which a joint operation was launched by the army and police in the area yesterday and two militants of the the outfit's ceasefire group were apprehended.
The security forces recovered a mobile phone, a SIM card and extortion notes from the militants who have been identified as John Tirkey and Ajit Kuzur, sources added.
