Two arrested with fake currency
Following a tip-off, police yesterday intercepted a car near Barwala Chowk in Hisar and arrested the duo -- Ramesh and Ramphal -- and recovered the fake currency notes from them.
A .12-bore gun, a double-barrelled gun and 22 cartridges were also recovered from their possession, police said.
The duo was produced before a court, which sent Ramesh to 10 days police remand and Ramphal to one-day remand.
