Two ayurvedic medicine store owners arrested

Two medical store owners have been arrested for allegedly selling fake ayurvedic medicines in Nyayganj area here, police said today.
A police team along with health department officials raided the two ayurvedic medicine stores yesterday and arrested the owners, they said.
The ayurvedic medicines available at Prem Ayurvedic store and Rama store are packed in a plastic bag, without any mention of company's name, batch number, manufacturing date or expiry date, police said.
The owners Prem Prakash Gupta and Rahul Singh have been arrested. A case was registered against them and investigations are on, they said.
All the medicines have been seized and their samples have been sent to the lab for investigation, they added.
