The woman had complained to SSP Dharmendra Singh that she was gangraped by constables Vikas Tyagi and Jitendra Chandel on July 22, City Superintendent of Police Ajay Pal Sharma told reporters.
The duo picked up her husband allegedly for being involved in bootlegging. When she reached the police station, they took Rs 15,000 from the victim and gangraped her, he said.
On the SSP's order, an FIR was registered in the case, he said adding the duo was arrested and sent to jail.
An investigation is on in the matter, the CSP said.
