Apart from exploring the world of fiction, the children also participated in various workshops including those on Nagada, theatre, clowning, cartooning, puppet making, during the festival being held at a private school here.
Story illustrators including Valentia Trivedi, Simi Srivastava, Samyukta Saha, Rashmi Uppal, Ajit Narayan, Umesh Kumar and Vikram Sridhar narrated their stories using puppetry, poetry and music.
The 'Kahani' festival is aimed at encouraging children to embrace the joy of reading and inculcating learning outside the classrooms.
Children were also given the opportunity to create and share their stories and explore the various tools of story-telling; narration, writing, animation and traditional forms of illustration.
